What is Summer BLAST? It's our summer week of evangelism in our local community. We want to bless our community with uplifting messages and free food and activities for all.

Team Descriptions
Prayer | Organize prayer initiatives before, during, and after the evangelism. Ideas include 10 Days of Prayer, 24-hour prayer, all-night prayer, prayer walk, fasting and prayer, etc.
Giveaways | Responsible for purchasing and distributing the mass giveaways that will be handed out at the end of each nightly program.
Food | Organize the food that will be given out at the end of each nightly program. Help with preparing, distributing, and cleanup.
Worship | Organize the nightly program--everything from the order of the program, to the participants, to the flow--and keep it short and simple. In the live event production industry, we call this run of show.
Music | Coordinates individuals who will handle the musical prelude, theme song, appeal song, and other music as needed.
Baptism | Organizing baptism logistics such as filling the pool, managing the changing stations, having robes ready, assisting with entry/exit from pool, getting contact info, and cleanup.
Logistics | This crew handles the setup and breakdown of the event each night. Members of this team will also be on call to assist whereever else they are needed. Two days are never the same!
Security | Ensures safety of premises during the nightly program. Members of this team will be will be equipped with vests and walkie talkies. They will be stationed at key points as well as roaming through the building and parking lot in order to actively respond to potential conflicts or issues.
Children | Ensures holistic programming for children that is a mix of entertainment and education. Vacation Bible School curriculum will be used.
Ushers (Greeters) | This team is the face of Summer BLAST. They will greet and direct people upon arrival.
Registration | Responsible for helping guests with online registration. Must be comfortable with technology.
First aid | Responsible for providing basic medical assistance
Health | Responsible for sharing basic health information and potentially providing basic screenings
